Anthony McCormick

MCCORMICK, ANTHONY, 56, of Newark formerly of Paterson died suddenly on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Born in Upstate New York to the late Ulysses & Naomi McCormick. Anthony attended school’s #10 and Eastside High School of Paterson, NJ. He was the “fighter” of the five brothers always feeling the need to protect and defend them. He was very athletic enjoying sports like baseball, basketball, and boxing. He would quickly offer you to join him in the ring. Anthony was a jokester always trying to put a smile on someone’s face but most of all he had a deep love for his family. Anyone who knew him knew his mother & father was his world. He cherished his children and had fond attachments to all his nieces & nephews.
Left to cherish his memories are Anthony McCormick of CT, Na’Shema McCormick, and Marcus McCormick of NJ. Grandchildren Audrey, Au’Jhanea, Darrell, Rahmeer, Jeremih, Daveon. A dear friend of Michelle Phillips. Brothers Dale, Michael (Vernista) of SC, Brian and Dwayne McCormick. Sisters Bernice Alston and Rosalyn Dawson. Nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews Lachier (Mya), Domonique (Akeela & Alore), Lashonda (Saige), Jamaal (Jaheir & Jha’Nye), Michael (Melony, Serenity & Zoey), Jaquan (Lakayla & Jerahmoni) Childhood friends Wayne Mack and a host of Uncles, Aunts, and Friends.
