Jose A. Suarez

SUAREZ, JOSE ANTONIO, “Pop or Abuelo”, passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 83, in his hometown of Fair Lawn, New Jersey. His battle with serious medical issues in recent weeks showed his courage. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Jose managed his illness with strength and grace and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. Despite the pain Jose never showed it nor complained, he came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end. It was love at first sight when he met and married his wife, Maria, in Spain. Together they formed an unbreakable bond for 44 years until death did them part.

He was survived by his two beautiful children, his son Jose and daughter Myriam, as well as their significant others Julie and Tom. Three grandchildren Jose, Jasmine, and Crystal. and their significant others Natasha and Will. Three great-grandchildren Ellie, Zane, and a newly expected baby. He was accompanied until his last day by his two loyal companions and protectors, Tuxx and Cora.

His life was honored with a private ceremony for all his loved ones, per his wishes. He is now resting in peace and reunited with his soulmate/ wife. He will be dearly missed by all.
