SANCHEZ, MARIA S., 81, of New York, NY was born October 22, 1938, in the Dominican Republic to Jesus Maria Sanchez and Ludovina De Los Santos and was raised in Guauci Moca, Dominican Republic. She was known for her undying faith in God, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Loving mother of Ramon Rodriguez, the late Mario Rafael Rodriguez (2010), Margarita Bueno, Bienvenido Rodriguez, and Dionisio Rodriguez. Devoted sister of the late twelve siblings, and Lorenzo Sanchez, Cherished grandmother of twenty grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren.
Grandma was a very strong believer in God and would always encourage all of us to pray and attend church events and if we did not follow through she would be highly upset, I Gaudi Bueno-Vilorio, granddaughter today promise to try harder and follow through with her desires.
A Graveside Funeral Service and Interment will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at 9:30 am at St. Peter’s Greek Catholic Cemetery, Garfield.
