Valrie Elaine Brown-McLean

Valrie E. Brown – Mclean (Laine), 65, of Paterson, NJ. Born on June 13, 1954, in St. Mary, Jamaica. Departed on December 31, 2019 surround by her four daughters and three brothers. She was the eighth child of Daphney and Arthur Brown. Loving mother to Sherril, Sherrie, Wendy and Kiesha. Adored Grandmother to Justin and Zoe. She was loved by her son in law John Wright. She was also a devoted sister to Alton, Tanny, Lee, Pam, and Linval. She had most of her education done in Jamaica .W.I. She came to the United States in May 1981. she went to school to become a Home Health Aide and after finished she got a job working has Aide for 37 years until her passing. She loved to shop with her daughters and play games on her tablet.

Friends and Family will be received on Monday, January 6th from 4:00-8:00 PM at Manke Memorial at Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home, 351 Fifth Avenue, Paterson. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Fair Lawn.

She’s been with me as I’ve grown.
