Aldo Grossi

GROSSI, ALDO, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022, at the age of 78, in his hometown of Wayne, New Jersey. His battle with medical issues in recent weeks showed his courage & strength in the same manner as he dealt with the experiences in his life.

In Aldo’s younger days he enjoyed being in the pizzeria & car service business. He made a great pizza and one of the best zeppoles you would ever eat. He was filled with pleasure knowing his food made people happy.

Aldo had a great personality. He was a very optimistic and forgiving person. He was a lot of fun to be around and he lit up any room he went into.
Aldo was known by many people and would run into someone he knew no matter where he was. Aldo enjoyed driving, always had a good sense of direction, and was able to get anywhere without a map. He enjoyed smoking cigarettes and drinking espresso.

Aldo is greeted in heaven with open arms by his late wife Claire Kilo. Whom he was happily married to for 25 years. A beloved father of 3 daughters & 4 step kids. Beloved grandfather of 6 grandkids and 6 step grandkids. Beloved brother & nephew.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 12th from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at Manke Memorial @ Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home, 351 Fifth Avenue, Paterson. A Funeral Service will be held during visitation starting at 12:30 PM led by Fr. Francis Lennie. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery and Mausoleum, Totowa.
