IRAN, AURELIO (DODONG) JAQUE, 79, of Hilsdale, died peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Beloved husband of 59 years to Simeona (nee Hipona). Loving father of Luz Iran & her husband Mohammad Eid, Marie Iran & the late Arty Garcia(2020), Arthur & his wife Arian, and Michael & his wife Precious. Devoted brother of Romualdo, Teotico, Anita, Linda, Rosie, Emma, and the late Teodolo. Proud and caring grandfather of Sean Garcia, Blake, Kobe, and Beatrice. 

Dodong was an avid basketball fan and loved watching the Lakers. He was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Hillsdale. Before retiring, Dodong managed the property and grounds for the Alvarez Family. 

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 4th, at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 69 Valley St, Hillsdale, NJ 07642.  Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, March 4th, from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM at Manke Memorial @ Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home, 351 Fifth Avenue, Paterson.  Cremation was private.
