ROY, BISWAJEET, 53, of Elmwood Park died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.  Beloved son of Dr. Bijoy K. and Minati Roy. Cherished brother of Mousumi and her husband Arup Ghosh. Loving uncle of Mourupa Ghosh. Adored brother to Boby, Popy, Piku, Tapa, Jolly, Deepa, Pinki, Jham, Titil, Daizydi, Lozi, Rumi, Biku, Buddha, Jadab, Ujjal, Keshab, and Pranab. Biswajeet was always outgoing and fun-loving, a giver at heart. He wasn’t just a brother or an uncle, he was always there with his endless support and guidance. He lived each day colorfully and to the fullest. Biswajeet wasn’t afraid to love, laughing through the good times and not holding back from crying during the bad. He was called “Raju da” or “Rajamama” by many, translating to king in English, and he surely lived like one. He traveled to Mexico, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, France, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia, Qatar, India, Mongolia, China, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. He loved flowers, and his favorite movies were The Godfather, Scarface, and Dewaar. He loved driving in his convertible, eating good food, writing, and cracking jokes.

Puja and Viewing, Friday, July 5 @ 12:00 PM @ CedarLawn Crematory, 200 Mclean Boulevard, Paterson, NJ 07504. His ashes will be spread in the Atlantic Ocean, Ganges River, and Bangladesh.
