Elaine was the beloved niece of Anita Ginocchio, a dear cousin to Gail Rosen, Lynne Cohen, and Karen Hoversen, and a wonderful friend to many. Born and raised in Queens, NY, Elaine went on to become a teacher, an RN, and a research scientist at the NY State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
