Frederick "Fred" P. Boreale

BOREALE, FREDERICK P., "FRED", 75, of Butler died peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Katherine (2013). Cherished father of the late Elizabeth "Liz" Moscatello (2019). Devoted son of the late Eleanor (2000). Loving grandfather of Patrick. Before retiring Fred work as a Train Mechanic. Fred was an avid photographer and has many beautiful photos of nature, most especially all different types of birds, and very good quality work. He loved trains and collected them and also worked repairing trains for customers for quite some time. Fred collected antique toys and was very knowledgeable about the category. He worked at Walkers Hardware Store in Totowa, NJ for many years up until they closed their doors. His dog Kia was his best friend and he had two cats that he adored. Fred was an avid Yankee fan and would sit out on his stoop listening to the games all summer long. He was a loyal friend and a great neighbor. Even when he was in great need he never asked for anything. We will surely miss him.
