Laura devoted 30 years to the teaching profession, spending 27 of those years in the Paterson School System. She believed every child deserved the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, and she poured her heart into her classroom. Laura generously tutored many students of all ages, often giving her time without hesitation. Her patience, encouragement, and unwavering commitment left a lasting impression on generations of students, fellow educators, and families. Laura proudly worked for The Arc of Bergen County, where she continued her lifelong mission of serving others. Through her compassion and dedication, she enriched the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, treating everyone with dignity, respect, and understanding. Laura was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan who rarely missed a race and loved cheering on her favorite drivers. She also had a lifelong love for Disney, finding happiness in its stories, magic, and timeless sense of wonder. One of her favorite places to visit was the Bronx Zoo, where she enjoyed spending time surrounded by the animals. Music brought her great joy throughout her life, and she was a devoted fan of Barry Manilow and Donny Osmond. Laura embraced the simple joys that made life special.
