PIESLA, MICHAEL J., 62, of Middle Village, NY, formerly of Milford, NJ, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

 Michael Piesla, born on October 24, 1963, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Stanley Piesla and the late Dolores Crawford. He leaves behind his daughter Alexandria Tibak, her husband Wayne, his grandson Parker, his son Ryan Piesla, his brother Stanley Piesla Jr., his wife Kate, their children Christian and Claire; his sister Kathy Pelc, her husband Peter, their children Jillian and Alexander; his brother Thomas Piesla, his wife Kathy, and their children Megan and Thomas.

Michael was a proud graduate of Rutgers University. He spent his career working as a pharmacologist at Wyeth. He was very passionate about his work and was a dedicated employee for 20 years. He had a great love for traveling and was happiest when he was out west at Yellowstone National Park.

Michael dearly loved the town of Milford, NJ, where he and his ex-wife raised their two children. After some time, he moved back to his other favorite place, New York City. He could often be found in museums and restaurants throughout the city. Brooklyn Botanic Gardens held a special place in his heart. Michael will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
